Description
Gemini Compounding and Polishing Creme is formulated especially for clear coats. With our Gemini Polishing System, you can compound or polish depending on the buffing pad used.
Step 1: This step depends on the severity of the paint imperfections. Once the paint condition is determined, work your way up to 2000-grit fine sandpaper. Keep the surface and sandpaper wet to prevent scratches. When finished wet sanding, the painted surface should be dull and smooth, without shiny spots or bumps.
Step 2: To bring the shine back, use GMINI with our Blue C-17 Cutter Pad with Velcro back using a 1700 RPM HD Polisher.
Step 3: Remove the Blue Pad and continue polishing with our Yellow Diamond Design Foam Pad with Velcro back, making sure any fine scratches left by the sandpaper are removed. Check for any imperfections under good lighting. Buff until the paint is smooth and glossy.
Step 4: Use La Cera Amarilla for light color vehicles or Midnight Special for dark color vehicles to clean up any polish spinoff and enhance paint protection. The paint should now be flawlessly smooth and glossy, shining like a mirror.
Maintenance: Use Anti-Static Showroom Conditioner between washings for added paint protection and to maintain that glossy showroom shine even longer.
